    The Flatmates.com.au website matched up some of their data (renting a room) with railway maps to produce maps of where rooms cost the most to rent.

    Not sure how useful this data is to us investors - (and it is a rather crude measure of simple averages), but it is still interesting.

    Interesting how rents can drop $40-50/ wk by moving a couple of stations either side of Chatswood or St Leonards. This becomes a bit of an indicator of older housing stock vs newer/redevelopment areas.
