I do it when using my phone, make errors that is, due to big hands. They need to come up with a different set up there soon I think. Such a first world problem!

    Likewise.

I have problems especially wwith my android phone. It's a Samsung S6, and the spell checking is very aggressive. I can hit the space bar by accident and my one letter following gets turned into a complete new word. But some words I could not type at all without being "corrected"- the phone never learnt those words. I've turned off spell correct completely in order to speed up typing on the phone.

iOS had a good level of spell correcting. Most of the time it gave me the spelling I really needed. I could really type messages much faster.

One other thing that I dislike... typos in thread names... it just looks horrible to me!

I've done that before. Pressed the enter button then realised a second later my mistake!

Like the lack of upper case on the first word in this thread, for instance.

I think the occassional incorrect grammer and spelling is alright. There are serial folks who just cannot spell right, too much use of UPPERCASE. My pet peeve is shortcuts, cud b result of 2 much t8xting.

Seems like us regular folk only get 5 minutes to fix up our posts now?

Plenty long enough to fix typos.

Me, me.. I do this all the time.
Cant forgive myself when the grammar is wrong and confuse people. Settled vs settling.... Worst when I'm using my mobile.
The problem is that after this is fixed, the first few replies wont make sense.
So it's probably not a bad idea to limit it to few minutes....

After that it has to be the mods who can fix up past sentences for you.

Premium membership gets longer, plus it helps to pay for all the hard work Sim puts in. Easy way to give back to a great forum.

I was able to edit my post for a week last FY. I can't edit after a day! There is a good possibility it is there but I'm not seeing it though.!!
Edit: I was able to edit this post within a min.

So the question is, how many minutes do you get now?
