That is an optimistic outlook. ( I don't mean to just take 2 sentences out of the whole article, it is a good read ... )

I have noticed that Shane Oliver seems to be generally optimistic.

It is difficult to read articles by AMP employees.

The cynic in me wonders if AMP is looking to attract last minute super contributions just prior to 30 June.

I am sure Shane himself is a great bloke. I just don't trust product manufacturers.

It's hard to drive inflows with pessimism!

There is only one other person whose glass is much fuller than Shane Oliver's and that's Craig James from CommSec. Oh wait, hang on..........he represents an online broker who might want you to buy shares and then sell when you're scared thereby optimising revenues

    Quote..
Most major share market falls have occurred in the May to October period (1929, 1987, worst of GFC, etc). Hence the old saying "sell in May and go away, come back on St Leger's Day" still resonates..

You read this a lot over the years, and it does happen if you keeping reminding yourself of the obvious and the undisplayed..

God yeah; back when I used to watch Sunrise a bit (can't stand it now), I was seeming these horrible economic situations everywhere, and then Craig would get on there with Kochie and talk sunbeams and rainbows, and I was always thinking; what planet are these blokes on?
