Yeah, printers are pretty much disposable these days.

Yep - ended up with a different computer that takes a different cartridge size ... so took the "mistake" one to the Salvos to see if they have a family that could use it. They were very grateful.

Nothing wrong with it - it's just not wireless. So $58 out of pocket ... think I'll live

I don't even know where our buttler keeps his pantry but I assume that it's somewhere in the buttler's quarters. It might even be in the basement somewhere near the dumb waiter.

To read the newest posts on a PC thread on my phone, I always scroll down to see them.

Of course, the page is always still loading. So I start to read it and then finally the page fully loads which then moves the display to the very bottom where the twitter feed messages are so I have to re-scroll to find the section I was reading....

Complained to husband today that he had given me too much money and I had to put some in an envelope or it was going to break the clip on my wallet

He was supposed to take the cash out of one account and deposit into another account (same bank) so I could do an Internet transfer... But nooooo he took the cash out and handed it to me o_O

Now I have to take time out of my busy day on Monday to deposit into correct account

Also hate that my new BMW ( and the last one too ) profile settings does not change the passenger seat as well as the drivers.

Sucks every time we go out and one of us drives out and the other drives home and we have to "fix" the passenger seat.

Frickin clouds not allowing the solar hot water panels to operate, so will end up paying about a 50c more for gas.

The Colombian currency has dropped 10% since I left there, after being steady for some years.

So those delicious cafe lunches which used to cost me $5 would only be costing me $4.50 now.

1 of the 2 zip hot water taps in my workplace kitchen doesn't work so the "working" one gets overworked and so we can't instantly get the hot water on demand for a cup of tea. I'll have to walk down to the next level to get hot water.... Also one of the two microwaves in the workplace kitchen has been playing up so we are down to 1 microwave and when the two dishwashers are unavailable it seems people are incapable of washing their own cups - so people keep leaving the dirty cups out for someone else to clean.... I guess having more washing up sinks etc could be good, but I can't see why it needs to pile up....

Funny thing is, our workplace has 4 fridges (1 for Friday night drinks, 1 for milk and 2 for staff usage) on our level but only the 2 microwaves... there's often a wait of 5+minutes for a microwave at lunchtime. And that's when there are 2 fully functioning microwaves. so now being down to 1 is not too good....

    Ok, rant over....
In all seriousness, it's all pretty good and many places are heaps more dysfunctional than this (except for the dirty cup/mug situation)... that is something people shouldn't do.... not the fault of the workplace though.

Also good to see also that a large proportion of people bring food to heat up for lunch on a daily basis.

@Lizzie so you missed your optometrist appointment again:D

Actually reminds me on when we went out for a family breakfast at Pancake Palour and my brother in law complained about how the "ice cream" tasted funny..he had actually swallowed a massive dollop of "butter":D:D
