Any leave I take will first come out of my normal annual leave balance. Only when that hits zero then purchased leave would be used.

Uhh... that is not nice. There are no restriction on my company. Afterall either type is something I need to get paid for.

Bought leave this year in anticipation of my sister visiting... looks like that need to wait until international border open again. Can't even go for a domestic holiday yet :(

Had to replace a27 year old fridge in our holiday accommodation (living there while new house is built) .... can't get anything single door fat or double door skinny enough for the height of the fridge cavity ...

I'll solve this. Give me your holiday accommodation and you won't have this issue any longer. ;)

At work yesterday four Millennials were discussing the waiting times to get leg waxes, bikini waxes and spray tans now that some salon treatments are available and others aren't. Apparently you can wait three weeks for an appointment in my local area, they are so heavily booked. I'm standing there with my jaw dropped trying to understand why anyone would want a bikini wax or a spray tan coming into Winter. Apparently it just has to be done or "it wont be right".

    Please be careful.

Pick up your jaw carefully and sanitise it properly.

Yes, I was very careful about what came out of my mouth.

I recall probably 14 years ago at tuck shop with a couple of regular people (myself included) but a sprinkling of yummy mummies, when one was saying "Oh... I can't wait to get an appointment to have a hair cut and get my eyebrows done". I was perplexed and wondered if this mother owned a pair or tweezers?

But back then, I didn't have massages or have my legs waxed or eyebrows done. These days I do all of these (not all the time, mostly I just do the legs the old fashioned way, using hubby's razor) because I've discovered that being pampered is kind of nice.

It took me a long while to feel comfortable being pampered.

My wife tells me that this is an advantage of being not so young any more.

I do it all myself - love my epi-lady and eyebrow wax - but for pampering ... :) ... if the masseuse doesn't have me leaping off the table in delightful agony, I feel cheated

The eofy is fast approaching, evidenced by the extent of footpath replacement which is happening at present. (all the more opportunities to etch papa pig in the fresh concrete ).

Council is upgrading an intersection and has marked out the road widening, underground services, chainage points etc.

Some bright spark is replacing several panels of paving which will be ripped up in weeks for the new work.

Yep. I believe the male grooming industry has boomed. My father would just not understand if he was around to see it.

With our DA we've had to put footpaths in. Another developer friend has had to do the same.

So our footpath is the only one in a whole street where it is highly unlikely any other home owner will do a development.

I understand BCC is passing this cost on to us, but it just looks odd and will be the only bit of footpath in the street for probably another 20 years.

I'm not queuing up for a sack, crack & back wax just yet.

I think I'm past a rejuvenation or even a complete renovation. I'm more of a knock down and rebuild.

I’m not sure why I’m having so many issues syncing my Fitbit Charge 3 to my phone, I’ve restarted both, turned Bluetooth on and off....

Update: finally got it to refresh by choosing to "set up a new device"

I think the phone and device syncing got stuck because I attempted to change the clock face.
