    Bait shop near batemans bay was charging;
$9 for a loaf of sliced white bread.
$12 for a bag of ice.
    $44 for a pack of 8 x 600ml unchilled water.
Way to go kicking the locals when they’re down.

Like @Scott No Mates said. You have no flair if you have flares ;-)

Currently waiting 48 hours for a delivery of a new filter for my ice maker fridge as it's dispensing the iced cold water too slow.

    Tough times....

Took a couple of mates out fishing with me this morning, one of which was designated the duty of bringing along the bait. He had placed it in an icecream container in his freezer. In his haste, guess what we ended up with?
Fish are not fond of icecream!

In six months time we would be able to borrow again to buy an IP. Where To buy is a big question!
    p.s we don’t mind the debt :D

    Thats really crap.

The locals should ghost this place immediately, if that is really the case, assuming there wasn't some legitimate reason for the price increases, like massively increased transport costs.

Whether I should season the cookware or not. Needs to be baked in the oven. May as well it's only a 35C+ day. Aircon will be working overtime. I'll see if I can bring down the grid.

Slotted away external obligations ... left volunteer exec position, completed TAFE course, finished house build and landscaping, sold business ... so I could have some downtime before things popped out the pipeline in 2020

    Now I'm bored

Have to chuckle. Reading "utopia for realists" (again) ... great book btw... and next chapter touches on one of the biggest challenge in the 21st century being too much leisure time.

That'll be cured by weeks end when I meet the builder onsite for next project

Phaw, does seasoning the base of the skillets with rice bran oil cause some smoke! Have sufficient around here without the need to add to it. Didn't set off the smoke alarm luckily.

Nevertheless, they should be good to go now instead of using Teflon coated cookware.

I was reading elsewhere that unicyclist rides his age every birthday. Next year he's doing 70km.

I made a planted fish tank and finally put my final batch of fishes yesterday. Supposedly a more outgoing type to get the others to come out. Nope. All the fishes still hide from me when I walk pass. So I have a tank full of fishes I take care of but can't see

    I want that problem

My feet get quite wet when it rains with these Merrell hiking shoes. The waterproofness stopped ages ago. Any ideas? The toe and forefoot area is the wettest. 20200207_093112.jpg
