I'm going on my first major unicycling multi day trip, involving lots of unicycling, camping, outdoor cooking with a bunch of other unicyclists. It's over on the other side of the world. The forecast is showing that it's meant to rain that week for the entire week....

@Gockie - at least you can ride a unicycle whilst holding up an umbrella. :D

Will you be better to wear a backpack or don't you have to carry your luggage with you?

A friend of mine who has just moved into a new house is worried. They have a new dog to go into the new house - and are worried that the dog wee may stain the marble floors.

Serious problem. My unicycle and that bag didn't make it to my destination. Lost in transit. Arrrgggghh.

Luckily, the trip host can lend me a unicycle, but it's not quite the same and I specially bought a handle for the lost one. Trip starts tomorrow morning, hope it turns up. ...

Supported trip... I'm going to be carrying a minimal amount of stuff on my back.

The unicycle is still lost somewhere in the world.... I'm thinking it missed my flight connection, but the agent at my destination airport couldn't track it down and nobody has given us a call as yet....

HR : showed salary range for our industry and that we are paid on top of the range

also received from a recruiter on the same day - similar job opportunity up to 40% higher salary than current.

Yesterday I was asked to fill out a survey from QUT asking me what kind of Professional Development (as an Educator) they could offer me. Being pretty pleased with my level of professional development, I didn't want anything on their list. So in the "other" box, I wrote "How to get along with Idiots"

I have to go to a Funeral later today for a mate of 50 years.
He had a massive stroke less then 10 days ago ,never made it out of the ICU unit ..
The only problem is he wanted a few fire crackers in the coffin but the coffin will be closed..

... and it would be worse if he was to be buried rather than cremated.

Where does one buy fireworks these days? In many jurisdictions they're not legal.
