A relatively stable return is about 6%pa.
So to get $100k pa, you need $1.7m in net worth

Plausible but based on risk/return scales, it would need to be extremely leveraged instruments, which may mean there is a significant probability that you end up in a worse situation than where you are today (realistically I think you would need higher gearing than properties to get there - I would be thinking ETO trading etc).

How does she "guarantee it"? So if I don't make $100k passive income in the next 5 years then she'll give me $100k passive income from her own pocket for the next xxx years?

If you are curious about Dymphna's techniques, have you at least tried reading her books? I would say that she offers some very good insights into the strategies and techniques that she uses. I would have no problems recommending them.

But to spend a couple grand for a course that will try to hype you up, play on your emotions and try to sell you a technique that works for everyone when you don't yet have the knowledge to distinguish which techniques would be suitable for you or not you are just opening yourself up to risk imo.
