    Hi all,
I recently join and trying to dip my toe in the property investment sector after a while. I have picked out these 2 suburbs and would love to hear you professional/ expert opinion about these 2 suburbs in terms of growth rate, rental income, surrounding areas, security, future prospect, etc

My budget is around 500-600k so can only afford a house in Broadmeadows or a unit in Greenvale. Which one would yield me a better outcome when I'm retired say in another 10 years?

Thank you so much for your help

A house in Broady would likely do better over the long run.

Of these options I would choose a house in Broady for sure. Land in Melbourne is only going to become more scarce.

Would suggest checking rental vacancy in Broady since it's close to the Airport

I have just placed an offer in jacana pending bank loan approval. It is in your range and best part is <15 km to city.

Glenroy and broady are serviced by a train line so you will have a better outcome.

greenvale have good quality homes and it is quite affluent for melbourne. However greenvale has always been dogged by no train line which is why Epping would be your best bet

Hi Wilson, Try and get land if you can Broadmeadows would be a good shout for that price range. Maybe look out West way also for that price range.
