Would a general builder be best to assess the damage in a fire damaged property and advise on the likely cost of repair? Would you ever touch a property like this?
Do you mean to purchase? Definitely opportunity there, most others will be scared away. Get it for a good price, get it fixed up then revalue or sell. Keep in mind your finance options will be limited. I've had Corey put houses in a state of disrepair on COS loans before. But yes, general builder most likely. Depends on where / what is damaged.
