    Hi
I've been googling/google images for examples of building footprints.
And not finding a lot of easy read examples with dimensions.

Anyone have a suggestion of examples

    and/or

    Would a building footprint of 12m x 12m accomadate a dble storey townhouse, dble garage, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom....etc

It should do, in broad terms that would give you 144 sqm x 2. Don't know where you are but in brisbane you can go to : Default - Home and search lodged plans for any current or proposed development . Hope that helps

It's not a large area and it's not likely to be a spec home which fits but as others say it's possible.

If the block has street frontages then you need to find out what street setbacks there are and work around those, if it's off a common driveway then you need to make sure you comply with lot setbacks.

Ah ok then that is quite doable. A double garage is 6 x 6m so start with that then draw a living, kitchen, dining, laundry and powder room at bottom. For simple simple just draw that as a 5m x 10m rectangle for living kitchen dining next to the 6 x 6 carport then put bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs
