trying to find a good mortgage broker here in Sydney.
Did use Smartline a few years ago but i dont like her attitude .

I did use the Commbank but its not personal service sitting on a phone.

Now i only want to borrow about 100k to buy a IP in Moree NSW.
I rang up Aussie , "only 100 ? She said arrogantly, so i hung up on her.

I have 20 per cent deposit plus stamp duty etc.

I need someone who can give me a loan at around the 4% mark .

    Is this hood enough?

On a serious note, there are so many on PC. Call any of them.

Agree. Many think all brokers are the same. They aren't.

Moree may not top the LVRs.

Good to see history repeat itself. I am pretty sure you did ask this same question previously.

    Agree with the information @Mumbai

There's a few hooded brokers around Mt Druitt and they do personal service.

Am I forced to use someone in Sydney ?
Obviously it would be easier ... But.. What if the MB was interstate ?

And please dont knock Moree... As the Sales agent told ne.. There are hundreds of investors interested in Moree and now's the time to get in before they do .

The broker can be anywhere. No need to ever meet. Once you have done one loan they only get easier so pick one you like and feel comfortable with

Fond memories of getting mugged by a lad from Moree back when i was 18. Still remember his words of wisdom to me "bra you don't wanna mess wif me, I'm pure bred Moree bra". Ahh the good old days

Dude that's hard core! I've met clients to sign loan documents in a Coles carpark before, Macca's and even Starbucks. But never a 7 eleven!

Is this the same sales agent who refuses to be a pm in the area?

It is Interstellar and Steven only meets you at a McDonalds.
DB, are you Tekoz's brother? Fancy believing anything the sales agent tells you. For Moree you will have to ensure the electric fence keeps working when the power goes off.

Moree - an investment hot spot? The REA told you hundreds were interested? How many houses are there in Moree, lets assume 2.5 people per dwelling - this means there are going to be around 4000 dwellings. According to realestate.com.au 18 have sold in 2016, so roughly 6/month. If there are hundreds of investors interested it wouldn't appear to be reflected in reality.

Population growth between the 2006 & 2011 census = 1% or roughly 0.2% per year give or take. Remote town, that experiences heavy flooding at times. On the plus side, it has an airport and rail link.

Not my cup of tea and btw ask your REA for the settlement data and how it compares to 2015. If they don't have access to this they shouldn't be in the game.

Not saying that Moree won't erupt in a flurry of spontaneous lemming buying, just saying that there better be an upside to counter the downsides.
