    To be fair - lots of councils put traffic management conditions on their building permits - even pools. Thankfully you have a laneway so blocking it off with a crane etc might be ok if the laneway is big enough for the truck and crane. Otherwise they put it over your house and cause street chaos.

    Tuesday will be exciting! I saw the photos of my friends being craned over houses this week and it was scary!

    got pool in, dirty at the moment
    soak wells to be completed
    just got a quote for travertine paving $2500... ouch
    will look at garden lighting this week

    House is currently a sand pit, dogs running a muck

    I am very happy with the size/dimensions of the pool, looks great.

    I am so looking forward to handover stage:)

    no, I love old/period homes so won't be moving anytime soon

    When do you expect to finish?

    I am very likely not going to the long wanted lap pool because it might be too close to the building. Considering an above-ground fibreglass like this one instead Nicole 5m Fibreglass Swim Spa/Plunge Pool (cost $16K for reinforced shell to be delivered) and later, add this swim machine The Fastlane by Fastlane Pools, Vastly Superior to Swim Jets

    Can your hubby share landscaping tips please :)

    sure will, but there is not much to landscape, will show photos when finished, we are nearly there.
    However, the end price is more than expected, all the little things add up, will share costs at the end. Handover is not too far off.

    update
    we now have 2 massive concrete soak wells that we need to remove
    I may see if I can get rid of them on gumtree, free, just want them gone
