    Hello Guys,
Looking for a first home as PPOR in Sydney with budget around 650k.
Things important to me are (in no particular order):
    - School
    - Access to Public transport to commute to City
    - 3bedder house, livable place (doesn't need major reno)
    - land size is secondary as long as above criteria are met
    - prefer something in/around hills area/nw sydney but again flexible with other locations too

Please suggest any specific area or any example houses currently on market would be best guidance to start searching.

    TIA

U mean NSW right for a house rather than Sydney... not many houses for that price and criteria. Look at realestate

    Thanks guys.

What do you think about a townhouse in Quakers Hill or Scofield? They might be in our budget of $650 and inline with our preference of decent school and public transport access to city.

Appreciate your feedback on these two suburbs or any alternatives.

I've noticed there is a few newly developed town houses near Quakers Hill Station, definitely within your budget and value for money.

Schofield's is a tiny but more expensive but haven't really seen any that's walking distance to the station.

Schofields is rapidly becoming the next Ponds in terms of livability, especially with the Metro opened last year. It is actually quite convenient as it has its own Schofields train station.

There are a lot more master planned estates and new houses at Schofields so I would pick there over Quakers Hill.

Just thinking about Town House in Old Toongabie, how is it compared to my other option of QH or Schofields?

Closer to the city. Close to Norwest, Blacktown and Parramatta CBDs. Next to hills, but cheaper in comparison.

How far is it from the train station?
