What are you favorite flavor combos? Here's a few for me Peanut butter/honey/oranges(daily snack), milk/honey/bananas, fresh bread olive oil and Dukkah, salmon and cream cheese.
A few off the top of my head: Bananas with Chocolate (but... not strawberries with chocolate! Plain strawberries preferred, strawberries are ruined by chocolate!) Fried prawn (shell on) with tomato, onion and garlic sauce Prawn fettuccine with garlic butter, white cream sauce with mushrooms Spaghetti with finely grated ginger, prawns, bit of tomato Mushroom anything Lemonade mint as a drink. The mint is finely chopped and drink with ice cubes. Squeezed juice - any mix along the lines of apple, orange, carrot and celery. But most importantly, you need a little bit of ginger! It’s not really a combo but I love frozen mango (could add cream but I don’t usually have any cream at home) Chicken pesto (Aldi makes this easy) Dark bread toasted served with vegemite and Gorgonzola cheese (this is my usual breakfast) For ice cream cones - must have flavour choice is hazelnut. Wasabi beef - if the beef is tender it’s heaven.
I love salty sweet but not a massive sweet tooth so it's usually dark chocolate and salt - dark chocolate covered pretzels - popcorn with salted butter and little bit of maple syrup - toast with vegemite and sliced tomatoes - toast with vegemite and avocado - toast with vegemite, avocado AND tomato - peanut butter and jam - salmon and cream cheese too (caper as well please) - salted caramel - cream cheese and triple smoked ham - classic ham, cheese, tomato - steak with chimichurri - ginger + anything (dark chocolate, vegetables, meat, seafood)
Watermelon and salt Pineapple and anchovies (I'm weird) BBQ pork spare ribs and homemade apple sauce Chevre and Brut
Fresh King Prawns washed down with icy cold beer! This is my staple intake pretty much every Friday afternoon. Can't beat it!
flavour for us Aussies brussels sprouts and bacon I can't eat sardines without some kind of toast chicken, avocado, salt, olive oil steak for me usually means adding salt, pepper, garlic powder
That reminds me of this dish I've had which was soft shell crab and watermelon. OMG it was to die for I do like pineapple and anchovies on my pizza so I trust you on that.
This stuff is nice. Chilli (fairly mild), salt and dehydrated lime juice. Great on fruits or plain cooked vegetables. It's also popular in Mexico around top of a glass of beer. Tajín (seasoning) - Wikipedia
Some great suggestions above, cheers everyone. Another great ingredient to make most bland vegetables rock is butter! Even the cheapest frozen veggies from the market tastes amazing after sautéing them with a bit of rosemary or any kind of herbs
Here's a sweet/savoury combo I never thought I'd see https://7news.com.au/lifestyle/food...F2X6cwriiWKqQYVozlMpgn8Hxk6LOR7M2sNYhmepkQORE
