    Hi,

My wife and I are going through our divorce, we reside in Brisbane. Can i please get a quote for the following

    - review the consent order which has already been drafted ( it has been drafted with both parties coming to an amicable agreement )
    - represent one of the parties in court ( if required, unsure) to finalise consent order
    - any paper work that maybe involved

The divorce was finalized at the Federal court on the 08/03 and we are waiting for the paperwork, which we should be receiving this week.

If there's an amicable agreement, why is a consent order or court required?

Correct. Without a stamped order of the court for a property transfer duty applies. We do $2500 plus GST for consent orders. Significantly cheaper than duty in most instances.
