Here's a review from YouTube. It's a pretty thorough review.

I just got a Hyundai I30 Active X. Love it. Manufactured a couple of months ago. New cars offer so much value atm. Bargained hard! Other family members got smaller and larger Hyundai's in past year and all happy.

We have a 2009 Kluger AWD Altitude V6..bought it second hand with 30,000km's on the clock.

Now up to 125,000km's - hasn't missed a beat except for tyres and battery. Best car I've ever owned. I love driving it.

Not too bad on the gas considering; about 11lts per 100km's.

Pretty good for room generally - except for the when the back seats are up - the boot space itself is not that big; but all of these types of cars are the same generally.

It is also quite a long vehicle - harder to park etc in shopping centres (unless you go down to the far end of the parking areas like I do to avoid the lazy humans who all want to crowd around the front door of the shops and walk nowhere.....but; no judgement of course o_O).

People scare me to! I park away from everyone. Like no cars next to me or 1 if i have to. Always try to get the spot next to a garden or fixed object to reduce chances of human door opening near plus you can get more room when parking strategically. It's a science! :p

I reckon you can't get better than a Kia Carnival for a family or even a general around town.

We've had ours since 2010 (new) and getting up towards 200,000kms & still going great.
So flexibile - massive boot - we've even removed all the seats (easy 30sec job) and used as a flat bed van, towed a caravan many times. Plenty of power, great vision, comfortable, sliding side doors for kids (both sides).

Depending on your budget, i'd go with any of the three major German brands (Audi, BMW, Mercedes). Quality cars.

Yeah and the Sorrento and the Hyundai Sante Fe are sister cars and have the same great diesel engine. So add them to the list.
