It must have been a diy job... I mean, if you're going to use staged furniture, wouldn't you at least bother to spend the $20 per photo to get the fake furniture professionally done?

Why... oh why would someone photoshop in a rocking chair. And why photoshop a patterned couch in a regency (or something like that) style, into a room with patterned wallpaper, patterned carpet and patterned curtains and timber panelling... especially into a room that looks more "nanna" that "regency"? And why match it with a Balinese coffee table???

And the chair in the bedroom that faces the cupboards LOL. They must not have had one that faced the other way.

Capable of photoshopping a chair into a picture, but incapable of using flip image vertically. LOL

Though i am no longer surprised. People in general are either really stupid or really lazy or both.

Yesterday i spoke with a kitchen installer who realised it was a 90cm rangehood and not a 60cm one. They figured the best way to swap the cabinets around, but not take into account that the rangehood would partially miss the cooktop if they did that - not to mention it would be lopsided and look stupid. Easier to swap a 90cm rangehood for a 60cm one in those cases...

So they got their way, definitely not as bad as whats posted in here. But where they have put a nice 6 seater dining table we used to have a tiny 4 seater square table just to fit in.

    still looks fake.
I reckon staged furniture is much better.
At least when people walk in they can see it.

oh I didnt say it looked good just better then some examples shown here, lol. Staging wasnt worth it for the value of said house.

I saw recently in realestate.com that some apartments in Melbourne CBD are displayed with fake furniture. I find this funny and look stupid.

Currently selling an IP and paid to have it professionally staged. Nothing beats the real deal

I don't know, to be honest if it is not too terrible, at least it gives some impression of what it would look like when lived in. Empty can sometimes look quite bare.

Some of the staged properties are equally as abhorrent. If I see one more scripted "home" carving on the wall..or a "life", "love", "family" blackboard I think I will go postal!

At first I thought my airbnb guest sent me a photoshop job for this thread... Nope. It's just on my glass table.
