Put some across the front of the house too.

    Easy!
At least it's all outside so it doesn't matter if you give up halfway through - it's supposed to look like that ;)

There's plenty of work to keep me busy on the inside too!

Well don't start anything you can't finish, leave the outside to if you have time.
We had a big list last time - and it rained nearly the whole time : /

This weekend is sunny so I'm gonna take advantage of that and actually do the outside first. Timing shouldn't be an issue, it's mostly just painting.

What are you talking about, they're cheap as anything.
Just have to wait for them to grow.

The only cheaper place would be when the councils do up the median strips.

That's good too! Drive around and find where council is planting, then dig em up! Stranger things have happened!

I know of one council that had very expensive mature plants taken the day after being planted... From the front of the council chambers! Haha

Turns out that mound out the front is half bark chips and half sand. I ripped up carpet in one room to find floorboards underneath.. They were mostly good and I was hopeful but there's one dodgy patch with a bazillion nails hammered in poorly. Anyway as this is a landscaping thread, there's also a bit of re-paving to do out the back and I'm gonna hit up the farmers markets on Sunday for some $1 agapanthases.

That's the go! They're a weed and hardy. Split the bejesus out of them, stomp on them, leave out for a few days they'll plant fine!
