I bought an off the plan apartment in 2018 with a sunset clause in February 2022. Construction hasn’t started yet. I know that the vendor has the option of extending the sunset clause, but the issue I have is that the vendor (through his solicitor), is not responding to my solicitor request to rescind the contract. Has the vendor’a solicitor have any obligation in responding to my solicitor?

4yr sunset clause, that seems pretty unusual?

    Where abouts?
