    @Leo2413 I'd think it would be better while it was still going, before gyprock perhaps, see the ugly side. You can go to a display village to see the finished product. Show the construction side and get some fancy shoes dirty while everyone's there :D

    I was waiting for it :D

    Ask the builder if ok as it's his site, then a run through with everyone at the front gate what to expect and enter at own risk etc etc... etc
    Should be able to find a generic site induction, I should have one. Everyone sign theirs lives away, happy days

    Woah.... Since I posted my idea this morning seems some have taken it and run. Ok, I'll start a thread say 1 month before its almost ready and see who is available. Maybe those who don't really want to go to the site can just meet us at the dinner/drinks venue which would be good too as we cant have too many people walking though either. @bob shovel with regards to during gyprock stage wont happen mate. The builder will have a fit as he is responsible for every single person who walks on site. We'll have to find a time when it's all legally OK to do so. I'll start the meetup thread in say 2 or so months and see who is available then.

    Yeah. Anyone can walk through a display home. People want to see the guts of it!

    Put it to the mob! And ask your builder if it's ok to have a few people through on a weekend,if he's good he'll say yes ;)
