    Okay, I'm back from the dead (or rather from my honeymoon).
    This meeting (not Leo's girls' night) is definitely still on.
    To be honest, I haven't done much recently, but I'm starting to look for a few more again, so hopefully I'll have an update by the time the meeting is on.

    Bob it wasn't me organising any meet up mate it was spludgey organising an experienced investor meet up but I don't think he got the numbers to go so it was canceled.

    @bob shovel I actually had an idea of having a 'Development Walk Though' meet up when my duplex in Sydney is almost complete. We all meet on site and I can run through the numbers/feasibility, explain ceilings heights, specs, designs, materials used etc while folks actually walk though to inspect, see, touch and get a feel for it or person. It might be of interest to some interested in development perhaps. Then after on site meet up, we head out to dinner or kareoke or something like that.

    But I dont know if any Sydney people would be interested in something like that or prefer just to meet for a dinner type thing. But personally I think the more fun it is the better.

    Are you kidding me? That's the most interactive meetup I've ever heard of. What a great idea. So generous of you Leo to allow us to actually come on site and physically see your completed dev as you discuss your planning and execution methods in person. Where do I sign?

    I think it would, I'd even charge a fee you're entering spruiker terrority! ;) or atleast some credit card details :D I'll take care of that side

    I think there'd be a lot interest, all sites are fenced now thanks to the fun police and theives so you can't just stroll through a local build anymore. Check out a dirty construction site and the ins and outs and what can be expected plus likely issues or unforeseen things that arise when building. Some hurt the hip pocket some hurt the final product via design changes etc
