Falcon, are you ever down in Melbourne - it would be great to tee up a freewheeling discussion on this topic. A propertychat equities get together perhaps?

Only once a year or so for business, happy to catch up when down. Fair warning though, once I get started I will be frothing at the mouth and hard to stop :p

    Good stuff Turk.

@CatCafe looks like IVV is the stand out for Ishares, which is S&P500. At 0.07% its cheap. Looks like there is more demand for that index than the US total market (VTS).

Personally, I really like QOZ, though its still a little low on FUM.

    Falcon and others,

Any interest in loading up on WOW.ASX at these levels?

    Cheers

I'm full up on WOW, bought last at 27. Its about a 4% position for me, so overweight. Happy to see the back of O'Brien but short term I don't see a catalyst for the business to turn. I've "bottom drawer'd" it :)

Technicals on the daily chart turning bullish, and indicative of a sharp bounce. Maybe a short-tem trade in the offing.

Cheers Greg, do you have a view on entry / exit? As you would have picked up I'm no trader or chartist, happy to hear your thoughts :)

    Falcon,

FWIW .... I view it as dribble in buy around here, with the potential to add to a full trading position after a selling panic flush out. That type of flush out would probably breach $26, and then - if truly bullish at this point - reverse on the same or next day with a strong up day.

So ... an entry averaging 26.30 ish and an exit at its falling medium term moving average of approximately 28.30 ish. A potential $2 trade.

With this type of stock, I would not apply a stop loss, and be happy to hold longer term if it didn't play out as described.

Sorry mate, I can't let that go unanswered. It's not wisdom, just enthusiasm. I'll need to pitch back in with wisdom in 40 years :)
