I had a look awhile back. I've no idea what to look for really, didn't see anything that concerned me. Look at the holdings and weightings vs STW if you want to compare.

FUM and survivorship would have been my early worries. Seems that they got some good traction and have the FUM to keep it alive.

Purchased my first ETF yesterday - I feel like I've moved to the dark side...

So far you've avoided a common mistake of some who post in here. Typing ETF as EFT.

I first purchased an ETF way back in 2001. I felt ashamed. While not so isolated anymore still feel ashamed. It isn't what is generally expected of investors.

Easy fix for that SK, you can just sell it then go back to trying to pick 10 baggers like 'real' investors

LOL @monk. While I have gleaned some very good stuff from posters on this forum there are definite no go areas. You have identified one.

Only a 10 bagger? Isn't there a certain investing newsletter who shall remain nameless that suggests 50 baggers are achievable / have been achieved based on their tips?

Fee wise there’s hope for STW, nearly double that of VAS now:

No doubt, unfortunately I've always been guilty of not aiming high enough :(.

Always possible. It's happened once so it can happen again. Actually it isn't something I'm very concerned about. At least I'm not paying the 1.5%/20% with the benchmark being the RBA cash rate. He he.

And hope the second op result is OK.

Yes thanks, so far no complications.

The vision in the first eye regressed a bit and will likely continue to change up and down a bit as the eye heals around the new lens. This is also more common in those like me who were very short sighted (long eye so more possible lens shift post surgery). In 4 - 6 weeks I should know what the final vision is. If I need glasses it will likely just be for nighttime driving or when in less familiar places. Still a great outcome as even with best corrected glasses my vision with the cataract it was too poor to feel safe driving.

The nurse in recovery said I’m hoping this second time is the last they see me as otherwise they’re going to have in increase the food budget for sandwiches, cheese / crackers and Popper juice:). I ate the equivalent of three patients each time.

******* heck which practice do you attend? No wonder the cost of medical care is skyrocketing for the rest of us if you keep on devouring the profit margins! BYO next time:p

I am considering putting in a formal complaint about the nasty male nurse despite him giving me extra food. I initially asked my usual post surgery question: have you got a T-bone steak? The nasty bugger replied: Yes I’ve got a beautiful T-bone, sitting in my fridge at home with a couple of beers to go with it. I’m happy to say you won’t be getting any of it but I’ll be thinking of you whilst enjoying same when I finish my shift in an hours time.

Still suffering from the emotional trauma, PTS syndrome. Mongrel:(.

Must have been a loooong and torturous 10 minutes of day surgery if T-bone was the order of the day.
