I made a post on somersoft a while ago asking for suggestions on what I should do whilst in Europe. I got plenty of responses so I thought I would put up photos while I'm on a 6 hour train ride to Venice.I'm just going to put up 1 photo per town we go to just so I don't bore anyone. My dad and his side of the family are from Germany and when I turned 18 in 2008 my grandpa put money in an account for a plane ticket to travel to Europe when I desired he passed away in 2011. I have finally been able to be in a comfortable place where We could take 2 months off work and travel with my fiancé. Life carnt be all work so hopefully this inspires a few people to travel.

Seems like you had great time!

Out of all places you visited, which one would you go back to again?

    Hi Tom.
If you have free Wifi can you attach bigger images please? If not......, carry on. :)

Edit: not sure what the setting is. Dont worry about this.

still over here : ) Octoberfest was amazing so hard to describe the atmosphere, singing german songs with 10000 people in a huge beer tent is something i think everyone needs to experience.

I always hit "upload a file" when I upload photos... but while i get large images when viewing on my phone, it always seems to degrade images too.
Sorry I have no great solutions. :(

On my phone, if I click on an image, I can see a larger image and scroll through the photos in that post.

Excellent pictures! My brother and his wife recently went to Europe for a month to get that travelling fix before they start a family. Luckly, he remembered to get me a Chelsea shirt # Diego Costa.
Attending an Oktoberfest is on my bucket list to do, as well as watch a game in Allianz stadium when Bayern Munich play.

Awesome update Tom - sounds like you're having a blast.

Cesky Krumlov brings back good backpacking memories :) I'll be putting the backpack on again......in around 20 years

What a lovely thing for your grandpa to do. I hope you had a beer for him.
    Great trip, some amazing places.
I love Prague. Didn't get to Cesky Krumlov, it's still on my to do list. I'll get back there, hopefully in the not to distant future.
