    Ah nice cheers Ivan. I think it was still min $300k when I first looked into them, and this rules most folks out. Good to see they're a bit less stingy now but $200k still locks a lot of people out I suppose.

    i just wanted to see if what i can buy and how much it would be before searching for the appropriate place. i'm really am looking for a CBD 1 bed or studio (as i don't have lots) and not anywhere remotely near retiring age i plan to use it to do short term leasing hence higher returns. I don't expect any CG but i do want constant cashflow. i have a lawyer but i will use it only once i sign the contract "with a subject to finance - 3 weeks " clause, which should be enough time to ensure it goes through.
