The best thing about watching Arsenal is when they play Chelsea. The antics of Wenger getting angry at Mourhino after being baited is hilarious. The battle between those two is almost as good as watching the teams play.

Well another miserable performance mid week in Europe by Liverpool by mostly fringe players. 1 all draw against a team I've never heard of.
Big game this weekend vs Everton.

5 in 20 minutes Aguero who do you think you are Lewandowski.....

Opposition will be a bit stiffer in 2 weeks when the Cherries arrive at Maine Road.

    Cheers

For all of those you of sleepy heads in Oz see Brendan Rodgers was sacked by Liverpool straight after the Merseyside draw.

That makes it 2 manager dismissed in the same day and now Bournemouth's Eddie Howe is the longest serving manager behind AW.

    Cheers

I'm surprised it happened that quickly considering they went within a Stevie G slip of winning the PL 2 seasons ago. I suppose it has more to do with the nearly 300 million spent on average players for inept performances especially in Europe.
They played well in the first half against Everton last night though.

Advocaat wasn't sacked, he left of his own volition.

Rogers sacking is a pre-emptive strike by the Liverpool board prior to what could become a very ugly period for the club if they can't find some capacity to be galvanised on the pitch.
This is their imminent premier league schedule to the end of November.
They could find themselves in the relegation zone as early as 3-4 games into this schedule.

    Tottenham (Away)
    Southhampton (Home)
    Chelsea (Away)
    Crystal Palace (Home)
    Manchester City (Away)
    Swansea(Home)

To make matters worse, they will play 3 away games in December against relegation threatened clubs Newcastle, Watford and Sunderland and their only home games are against West Brom and Leicester.

You really have to wonder how much Suarez added to that Liverpool side. Or how little everyone else added...

I'm hoping they pick up form because I am travelling to UK in late November and trying to secure tix to the City game at the Etihad on 21 Nov.. Anyways they should account for spurs next round as there's the usual dead cat bounce. They have quality in their squad it's just a question how they are best utilised not to forget their Europa league commitments

It is one hell of a topsy turvy season thus far.
For what it's worth there are 7 teams that have never been relegated from the current premier league, Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal, Everton,Tottenham,Liverpool and Aston Villa.
It's my view that will change this season with the most likely culprit being Aston Villa but Liverpool could find themselves vying for the unhallowed ground.
No team is above this, who would have thought the likes of Leeds United and Blackburn could have fallen so far from grace.
The real difficulty is once you fall, and the perception of whether you are a big club changes, it's mightily hard just to get back up.
