It will be only broadcasted on Optus devices ie Fetch TV, Mobile and Home Internet plans over $85 per month will get free access to the EPL, all other customers will pay $10 a month (i think)

Looks like Optus is making a play for the EPL fans.. it might be working on me already...

Yes think the Cherries signing of Brad Smith was a shrewd move by the best English Manager in the league.

He will do well this year alongside Ibe.

    Cheers

    Agree

Given palace have a left back on their shopping list I don't know why they didn't have a look .

Great move for Australia . Playing week in week out in the the premier league will be great for the Socceroos defence .

Will make it hard for gersbach or any of the others to get a look in .

Starting to look better for the Socceroos moving forward with more youngster getting a run in championship .

Agree Cliff but i am not convinced Smith will start every week certainly not initially.

Bournemouth have a very experienced left back by the name of Charlie Daniels who had a cracker of a year and would have certainly been on the minds of the relevant England selectors.

He would certainly have done a better job than those out there against Iceland (hides under the table)....

    Cheers

Ah well we lost 1-3 to one of the big 4.

Certainly played well on what was a lovely Summer's day on the South Coast.

Couple of beers tonight with a few mates and then back to Brisbane by Tuesday.

    Cheers

    Oh the life of a broker/buyers agent...:p
    I'm jealous.
Stoked after Liverpool's game at the Emirates though.

Back in sunny Qld. Hardly consider my life is broking and helping investors buy a property.

Officially retired in 2004 and have lived off property rents since then but love to keep my hand in broking.

The rents help me travel the world watching football and with a laptop and internet access you can still keep you hand in.

Though Liverpool's result was an excellent start but conceeding 2 goals after being 4-1 will be a concern for Jurgen.

    Cheers

Haha sounds like the life @Richard Taylor - definitely my sort of retirement.

Liverpool were fantastic - hope we can play like that second half through the season. Most fans/pundits won't be thinking top 4 is an achievement if we continue playing like that.

Sounds great, are you heading back over to watch Bournemouth?

We need a new left back, other than that I think the team is looking strong. I was hoping we might gave gone all out for Jonas Hector, once Gomez and Sahko are fit we will have plenty of competition for centre back as well.
Top four here we come hopefully.

    Hi Alfie

Yes after Saturday you will be when you come down to the Vitality to take on my boys lol.

Seriously the Toffees are looking good this year and if it was the same score as last year (3-3) i would be over the moon.

Think we are taking a while to jell in our new summer signings with a bit of 2nd season syndrome.

All i hope is there are 3 worse teams in the league this year than the Cherries.

    Cheers

Sorry Alfie but you were beaten by a better side today.

Cherries best performance / result since we got promoted to the big league.

Yes big call but i think it was better than the Man Utd home win and even the Chelsea away win.

Going to be a good rest of the weekend.

    Cheers

Crstal palace used a get of jail free card today . 2-0 down and scoring the winner on the 94 minute .

Last year is seemed to be the other way around , conceding a winner in injury on several occasions.

Can't get too carried away as it was only against Sunderland .

Everton next week will give a better idea of how they're tracking.

    Big call indeed :D

If anything, I think our loss to a lesser team such as the Cherries (couldn't resist ;)) exposed our lack of depth this season. I'm expecting a busy January transfer window.

Wow what an incredible performance by the Cherries with our 6-1 defeat of Hull FC overnight.

Certainly the biggest score in the P/L this year and to be honest should have been 8.

Spurs at home will bring a different challenge next week but with 3 consecutive home wins for the first time ever very exciting times.

AFCB sitting 2 points outside UEFA places.

The Bournemouth game is the early game on SBS next week so guys if you want to watch a team try and play football against one of the best in the league do yourself a favour and lock it in.

9 English players in the Cherries starting line up yesterday which is rare.

    Cheers

The current state of play at the first bend. About a quarter of the way through the season and its extremely tight. Man City looking good, especially after beating Barca this morning but they have shown that they are beatable.
West Ham would have to be the biggest under performers so far along with Man U. Zaltan is looking like a 36 year old looking for a final big pay day.
Spurs looking short of goals without Kane and weakened defensively without probably the best centre back in the EPL Toby Alderweireld.
