Can anybody recommend a broker who can work over email / phone after hours or on Saturday?

I work full time and don't have easy access to phone in work hours, and then do the whole feed/wash/bed the kiddy routine until about 8pm.

    Many thanks.

Find one in Perth, they're a few hours behind EDST.

You'll likely find that many brokers are available out of traditional hours - yours is a scenario that many others are in so they need to be adaptable :)

Pretty much every broker I know works outside 'normal' hours :)

    Hi Ben,

We're based in Perth and a lot of our eastern states clients love that we are still working normal biz hours when they've knocked off for the day! It does make it super convenient. :)

Absolutely. It is by its nature a 24/7 type of gig...... at least in the early years .

Maybe not quite literally...but certainly requires significant non standard hours if you wish to make a real go of it . Unless of course you are quite fine saying no to business... which is also fine. As others have said. Each to their own.

Did you find someone @Ben43 ?

Not if you value your sanity. Which most brokers do...and those that don't...well, do you want a frazzled wreck doing your finance? ;)

I seem to manage it. But I'm not on my own, I've got a team helping. But they only work business hours also.

So you never answer client calls outside those hours?
I offer service to my clients outside the normal hours all the time and I'm not bitter about it one bit, they love it cause they can call me on a weekend when making an offer on a property or outside their work hours as not everyone is available during the day.
    Each to their own :)

Actually possibly Rob does, I'm not sure. But I don't - my family are my priority on the weekends and in reality there's very little that requires me 'that' minute.

Most urgent things can be pre-empted with thorough communication and planning, and most other urgent things aren't actually urgent, I find. :)

It does happen occasionally that I'll return a call Monday morning from a potential client who has already found someone on the weekend - but I'm perfectly fine with that.

I love my clients, but I love my family more - just ;)

Not yet but I did get some PMs, plus the idea to use a Perth based broker is pretty good. I have some time off work coming up, so I might wait until then.
