I'm considering buying some of these devices mainly for cockraches which lately i have seen around.
I see them in many offices and places of business, but nnot sure as to their efficacy.

Anyone here use or used them?
    Did they work?

I have used one before- had a pigeon problem where they would sit on the balcony all day leaving a mess.
Bought an electronic device for ~ $100. Worked like a charm.

Would be interested to hear if these work on cockroaches as well.

Mum has them around her place - rarely sees any bugs).

(She also gets the place sprayed annually ).

Having been in the pest control industry for more than 26 years I have experienced many instances where I have found cockroaches living and breeding in these electronic pest control devices. The most effective way to manage a cockroach infestation is to conduct a thorough inspection and identify the species and harborage areas. Control can be maintained through physical and chemical methods. Proofing entry points and breeding areas, removing clutter and improving hygiene are good physical methods, there are number of very effective and low toxic chemicals including cockroach gel baits (which can be placed directly to areas of infestation) available on the market or better yet applied by a pest professional.

I remember reading a study quite a few years ago that seemed to show no statistically significant difference in insects with the device.
