Subdividable block but across the road from a substation. Price pretty good but wondering if you'd do it. intention to sub divide and build two houses as rentals.

Doesn't look monumentally large - no big transmission line feeding in right?
Wish they'd build a higher all though!

I guess the thing is - if you're questioning it, someone else will too....

It's underground as it's in a residential or built up area (same as what was done around Sydney Olympic Park - lines were buried, out of sight, out of mind).

It's still a large substation, so you'd still avoid it. The location will not command a premium, tenants will also shy away from it.

These places sizzle at night and can be quite noisy in fog and misty rain. And attract lightning strikes. Otherwise its very barren looking and wont ever be relocated. Cost will stop it even being fenced nicely. Also they can decide to do 24/7 heavy engineering and noise is a consequence. Cranes, trucks etc... Like living across from a cemetary in many respects. You can see what it is and cant make it look better.

The pole with flowers suggests it may also be a road hazard area with speed ? Is it a hoon street ?
