    Hi guys,

I have to get some electrical repairs on my investment property but I'm not sure if I am being taken for a ride. It would be great to get peoples thoughts on whether this seems excessive. The repairs are:

Quote is for supply and installation of new Clipsal remote controlled ceiling fan to main bedroom (3 year warranty), new LED downlight at front entry to replace broken light, 2 new power points to replace cracked points in kitchen and 2 new exhaust fans (toilet and bathroom upstairs) to replace burnt out items. Quote for the job is $572.

    Thanks for your help

    Have you considered DIY ?

Are you supplying items or sparky? A sparky's hourly is usually 50+/hr and you've got atleast half a days work. ...

Mate this very resonable if he is supply the ceiling fan.

Even if you are buying the all materials thats still good. Work off about 500 a day cash for a sparky in labour. Its a tradies world atm, plumbers are even more exspensive.

Thanks @lightbulbmoment for the reply. I am double checking with the agent if it includes all the materials etc. From my conversation with her yesterday it sounded like it was all included. Thanks
