Has anyone taken an educational course by so-called property experts? People like Dymphna Boholt and Steve McKnight offer expensive courses and I'm sceptical, but also curious. Also, are there any courses not run by "experts" that are beneficial to property investing? Thanks.

Google Dymphna Boholt and see what you find.

If you follow and attempt to replicate the success of an expert by doing what they did, you will likely fail unfortunately.
Different approaches work for different people, we don’t all think and act the same way.
The experts likely tried many different approaches before becoming successful, and many would have simply been at the right place at the right time and the ones that made it through are now the so called experts. There are many experts who keep a low profile too and are much more successful than those who enjoy promoting themselves.
One can’t simply follow what they say and expect to achieve the same results as the conditions are not exactly the same.
There are so many fine details which can’t be easily communicated and passed on from one to another effectively.
To be successful you need to try many different things, gain experience and most importantly figure out what will work for you personally, and nobody else can do this for you.

Bob's course is a very good starting point I agree, well worth the money imo. I've also had quite a few discussions with Bob and he's a really nice guy too.

Courses that teach philosophies are what you need, assuming the philosophies are good. I'm talking about ways of thinking, mindset etc.

Courses that teach specific strategies / tactics can be good but you need to be careful.

Courses that teach you how to use a specific product or company-specific methodologies...be very careful.

Old fashioned click bait too. Some are spruikers ... A number have been pinged by regulators for embellished tales of fortunes and strategies that are impossible to prove. If you found a way to turn lead into gold would you charge people a small fee to teach them how or would you just shut up and make money ?

The trap is most charge fees and then slug earnings from all the other things later. eg over priced property deals recommended. Preapproval on loans, equity release strategies and finance assistance in house helps them so you dont see an independent val...Take care

Its not like they are university courses.
