    Hi All,

We recently purchased a property in the East-Maitland - Metford area and would like to find a property manager before settlement. Can I ask if anybody had experience with Leah Jay or PRD? They both offered very competitively priced service. Please share your experience!

Many thanks and Happy New Year to All!

It's been a few years since I dealt with the Commercial pm at Leah Jay, they were OK.

Thanks Scott! Can you recall who the property manager was?

Great to know you have continued to like Leah Jay @EN710 . I have been with Peters Real Estate and have found them to be pretty good. As I have said before, not shout from roof tops good but solid and dependable.

For those of you interested in Metford and the greater Maitland region (@sash @grasshopper @EN710), this has to be good news. Finally, the gridlock about the hospital funding model is resolved and a new hospital is to be built. It is going to be a full-scale public hospital with emergencies and surgical facilities.

My understanding is that they will upgrade the Metford train station to improve connectivity to the new hospital and that should augur well for the local real estate.

Going public: Government to build and run new Maitland hospital

Ta that should push prices in that region along nicely..... :)

Mine is in Tenambit I bought it for 205k...I reckon I should be sell it at early to mid 4s by the time they start the hospital.

I was there the previous weekend and the site for the hospital was already fenced. I thought that was a good sign.
