Only 1 Newcastle and another in Lake Macquarie. Interestingly the sales agent for Newcastle called me to give me an update...what prices he's been selling for. Looks like good equity there in a short time.

Hi, Sold over 200 properties in Eagleby mid to late 90s..Av Price 35k to 90k returning $130 to $180pw....what I haven't seen mentioned in posts is that Eagleby is completely surrounded by water with ocean access, riverfront acreages are owned by some of the wealthiest in the Beenleigh area, perfectly placed halfway between Gold Coast and Brisbane of course but on the Ocean side of the highway....back then I challenged buyers to find property under 100k Oceanside between Bris and Coolangatta they coudn't...same these days except under 300k. A goldmine waiting to happen.

Hi Taku, Good to see you bought Eagleby finally. Has too much going for it. Goldmine waiting to happen...sold 200 properties here back mid to late 90s..30k-90k. As I mentioned to one of your friends on property chat and no one has posted. Eagleby is completely surrounded by water with ocean access and is on Oceanside of Highway. You will not find a property between Brizzy and Coolangatta on Oceanside for under 300k.

mmm interesting, you need the first few brave ones to build the mega properties in the area to pull up other prices, while at the same time, moving the current tenants on to change the stigma that's currently around that area.
