    Just curious if any folks here do it, to what extent and what kind of success can you normally expect for decent quality material. I have always wondered generally how people do selling E books on line.

    Also, can anyone recommend a great book for creating online streams of income. Something that is highly practical would be great. I know there are a couple of people on here who do this so would love to hear some of their wisdom.

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers

    Never tried it, but I would imagine that it is very hit and miss.
    There are millions of books/ebooks available, and without too much trouble you can get them free somewhere.

    The time and effort to write and sell one would probably far out way the financial benefit - unless you managed to get it to go 'viral'.

    If you write it for your own pleasure and can then make a few $$ off it, then get after it I say!

    Part Flynn from Smart Passive Income has interviewed a few eBook writers who apparently have made a small fortune. Good interviews in the ones below and there's more similar examples but can't remember which podcasts they were;

    Nathan has earned well over $200,000 by self-publishing eBooks on his website, and he shares all of his strategies and how it all happened here on today’s show.

    Since starting his book publishing empire, he’s published dozens of books (42 total) and is now earning a healthy 5-figures per month (averaging $45,000 per month)!

    I only know of one person who had done it successfully. They apparently make a killing - writing and selling erotic fiction.
    Not sure if that's the genre you were thinking of though ;)

    I sell E-books on the net . . but only really to the Australian Market.

    Makes me around $4,000 a year which isn't a lot, but at least my Hobby makes money rather than costs me.

    Around 90% comes from one title called 'Guide to anewhouse PCI'.

    I wonder if we know the same person ... she's does very nicely thank you writing and selling "space porn" (her words).

    Her books only sell at 99c-1.99 but they are fun walloping rides for a quick read - apparently
