Hi guys, any of you have experience using Acratex Acraskin?

I was given 2 buckets of this to paint the concrete block exterior of our house. Thing is I would like to have a lighter grey than the one I got. Person at dulux said that it is not possible to do unless I buy another bucket of white acraskin and mix it up for lighter colour.

Anyone has done it without spending $180 on a new bucket?

For the majority of paints adding white tinter doesn’t lighten the colour by much at all, it’s used as a filler in transparent bases and adding too much will cause flotation, which is one if the reasons why they have said to buy white base paint and mix it down to achieve a lighter colour, also it’s not their problem to fix it

even if you buy another drum your still ahead as the first two were free?
