    Hi all,

I've received several quotes for a full bathroom renovation.

Can anyone give me advice on what to do or where to start with due diligence on making sure (to the best of my ability) that they will do a good job and/or not bail half way through.

    Thanks.

Make sure the builder is licensed with proper insurances. Talk to past clients if possible. Recommendations from others who engaged same builder is usually good. Make sure no complaints against builder. Make sure last payment is a decent percentage of total cost and only paid after all work is complete and checked.

Check online reviews as they may be unable to influence those v ones they post on their website

In NSW make sure you follow the Fair Trading guidance. eg written contract. Deposit limits etc.
