    Hi all,

So I'm currently doing a renovation; and need to relocate the air intake for the ducted heating system.
Is there any issue with sourcing the air from the roof through a wall? There is a cavity (around 1m square) that is open up to the roof. If the entry into the air intake has a filter over it, is this ok to do?

@Frosty123 - you may need to line the shaft with sheetmetal and cap with a filter however talk to the contractor to hear their recommendation. Lining the shaft will reduce dust being sucked into the system.
