Hi, is anyone keen to meet up at Amazing Thai in Dubbo on 9th January at midday?

I need to find like minded property people to help each other to push to new heights.

Lunch is $10 and split bills are fine, restaurant can do Omni, vegan and vegetarian Thai food (excellent food)
Comment below if you are interested, or drop me a message.

    Thanks.

    Roy

Just a suggestion for future reference: you may want to give a little more notice - especially at this time of year, since a lot of people are still on holidays and may not see your message until it is too late.

Very fair call. I am travelling and OS from Friday 12th, out of action for a month. Was trying to get something in before I went, I might try for a Yum Cha breakfast in Sydney on 20th or 21st February when I am back.

    Thanks.

I'd also suggest that a Tuesday lunch isn't optimal. If you want something Regional & maybe attract some city goers, the weekend will work best.

I spend a bit of time away. How do you think 0730 Yum Cha at Haymarket (Sydney CBD) would go?

I get in and out with plenty of time to walk to work in the City?

    Weekends are difficult for me.

I might just put it out there and see what happens.

    7.30AM?

Um....fine if you work in the City & you want to get in early. It doesn't really give much time to have a chat, if everyone has to start work at 8.30 though. It doesn't have to be a weekend, I was just suggesting a weekend if you wanted it in Dubbo.....a place where you might not have a high concentration of forum members. If you want it in the City, an evening might work better, although there is a regular one already in the City about once every six weeks/two months.

I posted one for Orange, but those around the area prob rarely check forum, so no dates set as yet.....

PS I think the lending changes will have cooled interst a lot....

If we're available, we may make the Orange one....but we've got a Month's holiday coming soon & Hubby's show rehearsing most Sunday's.

I didn't know yum cha starts that early in Sydney. Maybe Hong Kong but probably not Sydney.

I can see where I am for the already organised Sydney meet ups.
I have a very flexible employment arrangement. I could start work at Yum Cha on the laptop! Done that before. I am not wed to Dubbo, it's just where my office is.

I get to Orange a bit, will be there on the 16th and 17th Jan.
I just did a purchase in QLD. It was very hard compared to a few years ago.

Yeah! Totally! 0730 at Haymarket - Emporers Garden... Not the BBQ place in Thomas Lane, it's on DIckson St, across from Paddys. When I first started going there 15 years ago, I was the only Caucasian at 0730..... It's more mainstream now, it's a great way to start the day! I understand Yum Cha translates to something like drink tea.

You can post on the Orange thread, I have set days I can do, but if you and Skater are keen, can try and work on a date and then lock it in, but it may take time for others to see thread or gain interest. Wont sidetrack here anymore :)
