Hi Guys - I am looking to connect with brokers who are either based in SEQ or deal with a lot of property in SEQ mainly around Dual Occ H&L Packages.

We are an agency moving into this space and would love to connect and build long term relationships with mortgage brokers who are also interested.

    Regards
    Peter

    Hi Peter

Lots of the councils in SEQ hate this stuff, tread lightly. Sunshine Coast is taking action now too.

Agreed mate - they are restricting so there isn't a mass supply of them which is a good thing. Thanks for the heads up.

My law firm has represented over 200 owners in SEQ where it has gone wrong. Plenty of existing supply, plenty getting shut down

Lots of issues with valuations coming in low, especially on land in SEQ, add the issue of council's not liking dual occ and it can be a tough slog for any broker looking to assist.
Salesman love dual occ's, easier to sell - speaking to a couple of them the other day.
