    Hi all,

I am currently subdividing a site in Logan which will provide a 450sqm block which I was planning on building a dual key home on (probably 3/2/1 + 2/1/1 or 3/2/1 + 1/1/1). The subdivision is approved but not yet finalised.

My town planner has told me I should lodge a DA with the house being too close to the boundary (so it has to be lodged as a DA, not CDC) ASAP so it gets to the decision stage before 1 July. I can then change the plans when they knock it back, and will get around the $23k infrastructure fees.

He also seems to think I can lodge a DA on the new lot, even though I haven't started works or got the new title yet.

Just wondering if anyone is in a similar situation to me, or has done the above recently?

    Thanks
