    Yes I will get my money back on finance clause. Council says this... alterations aadditions lodged on 10th october 1998 and 4th august 1994. Doesn't say what for so we request more documents and pay more fees.
    Cumbersome process, owners sais aorry it was 21 years ago...

    I have proposed that we get a reputable certifier to come and give us a judgement at owners cost.

    Have you asked BCC if the rules changed in May 2019? If they say legal head height is still 2.4m then you have your answer. You will be buying a three bedroom house.

    Today is your cooling off deadline. When is the finance date?

    Sorry folks, for late update. We walked out of that contract on finanace clause. No issues as at all except for a lot of running around trying to undertsand the rules around what is a bedroom and what is not.

    Then the owners have now advertised it as 3 bedroom plus 2 rumpus and we have placed new offer, that tge banks were okay with.

    Finance clause had earlier kicked in as bank didn't value the house as much as we asked for because it was a 3 bed house
