Draft person - designer. Perth

Am looking for a good designer who can maximize my builds on a triplex block

I know this guy is very good, but also expensive

Anyone recommend a good designer/drafty, that wont break the bank

Put the current idea/design up on this page, gather all the genius ideas, pay for a cheap drafty to put it in the computer, profit.

I just got Mark Anthonys quote $7810, its a goer, for some reason I thought it was going to be much more costly

This guy is brilliant designer, he will be doing everything that involves design and getting approval from council, City of Melville

 

Sounds like a good price for a triplex, just never heard of anyone quoting by the m2 thats all

I really like his taste too! He had a display home in Landsdale a few years ago. He has expensive taste for finishes and wow factor. Nice guy.

 

He also can recommend builders.

Smaller builders may finish builds in shorter time frame

Its all money, holding costs. $$

yes

its easier to get DA over the line and not as costly as Melb. In Melb I paid over $20k for this service and much harder dealing with councils in Melb

Adam Butcher at Darklight Design. I know some people who have used him but I haven't yet - but probably will this year

Joe Germano is a good designer, he would probably be cheaper but he has too much going on so there were delays in getting drawings finalised

I prefer Mark Anthony, a bonus I can walk to his office its so close

Who do you use in Melbourne?

I shopped around in Melbourne and eventually found a guy that cost $7500 for drawing originally but I had to pay an extra $2300 for redesigns during the building process as we changed our minds on things. He was a little scattered at times but he came through.

 

Just got one quote from builder, 3 villas turn key $649,000, good specs, does not include demolition, headworks

Will be looking at least 3 more quotes

 

How many sqm in total ? Is this based on working drawings ?

 

They are around 430 sqm

That's a pretty good price considering yours are larger than the average 3 x 2 and that includes full height tiling. Do you have retaining on your site?

Unfortunate 2 big trees on site, I would say at least $2,000 per tree to remove..... damn those trees
