What are your thoughts on the below block? The block in question is at the far end and the left side is the street frontage. A builder has advised that we could build here with a steep driveway down to the home. This doesn’t seem appealing to me from a drainage perspective. Anyone know if there any other options with this? We’d probably not proceed with it if that’s the case.

The only way I'd do it is with a split level house and the garage and some house being around road level then step down for the remainder of the house.

No way would I have a steep driveway down and nor do I do think you'd be allowed anything steeper than a 1 in 7 gradient.

It’s a corner block. I initially thought a split level would work but it’s a small block and the higher part is not enough area for a garage. I may give it a miss then
