Would you recommend putting down lights (LED) in the bedrooms?
I need to decide in a few hours and need to know if this will be too bright and glary when I lay in bed
If not I am happy to keep an oyster light, but it makes the celiling look lower

Im running LED downlights through the kitchen, lounge and open areas (I think cool white). Would you choose warm white instead?

    PPOR?

I'd look for Phillips Dimmable lights, one that can change colour as well :D

    I wouldn't unless you get a dimmer

Save the money from the LED idea and buy a nice light to replace the oyster. And put in a dimmer too

I would ... but I'm a sparky and I'd go 'warm white' for bedrooms and livings areas and 'cool white' for the bathroom and shed.

I got LED downlights in my bedroom (6x cool white). I love them.

My downlight of choice is SAL wave downlight 10w warm or cool white 15.40 each from most electrical wholesalers. They are excellent and dimmable you dont need to spend lots on downlights

I have these in all bedrooms love them, we have 12 ft ceiling height so perhaps this makes some difference to ambiance?
