The USA may need more boats if war is the aim. Of course, they're not probably going to tell you if war is the aim. So I think the redeployment of boats is just fireworks.

Seems liberal media quite happy to brush anything pertaining to Rice under the carpet, no reporting by media elite on this. As I said before the media biased is spectacular.

 

I'm not quite sure what the 'elite liberal mainstream media' is. But Fox is certainly mainstream media. Are you bending the definition of MM now? Fox is undeniably mm.

"elite liberal mainstream media" is a made up term from the right in an attempt to delegitimize news sources that lean more central or left, by implying that they are "out of touch" with the general population, which of course they are not.

Fox is mainstream, but it is like the right wing tabloid version of the news. It reports unsubstantiated stories & conspiracies, pushes falsehoods, lacks decent investigative reporters but has plenty of opinionated one sided hosts. I find it hard to read or watch. Though Fox does seem to have woken up a bit lately on how ignorant and out of control Trump is and some of its reporters now stand up against him.

I'd like to point out that up until his sacking for being a bit of a seedy *******, bill O'Reilly had the highest ranking news show on cable in America for theast 15 years, on a networrk founded and run by arguably the most powerful media mogul on the planet and many years had more viewers than the 2nd, 3rd and sometimes even 4th placed shows combined.

I have no idea how that can be any more mainstream and any more part of the elite than that.

It is an easily verifiable fact, and not one of those alternative ones you lot just invented, that last year fox news channel had more primetime viewers than ESPN and the comedy channel COMBINED.

By all means support whoever you wish to but it might be time to drop the whole underdog David and Goliath act when the show you're saying is not part of some made up Mainstream media definition is actually at the very top of the mainstream everyday news media In America.

It would be like me startinf a slow food movement to convince people of the evil maccas is doing as the most recognisable fast food giant and how fast food is bad etc, and then in the same breath recommending burger King
