Domain scam - They got hacked

    Domain has announced a cyber issue affecting users. Today 20 May 2021.

    Apparently some Domain users are receiving direct emailoffers from dubious people to pay deposits for rental property listed off the domain site. It seems that scammers have hacked some Domain data to facilitate this eg SOME phone numbers and email addresses are believed compromised.

    Apparently people are being DMd and being asked to pay deposits to secure rental property. Domain dont do that !!

    Seems to only affect a small cohort of domain users and investigations are underway

    The obvious thing about the spam was the email that it came from didn't match Domain nor the person who had sent it:
