Well the headline was Melbourne cracking 1 mil median house price. https://www.domain.com.au/news/melb...age&utm_medium=link&utm_content=pos5&ref=pos1

Most interesting figures for me was comparing Dec 19 to June 21 with this 18 month data showing where the markets are at now compared to before the pandemic

    Sydney Jun 21 $1,410,133 (up 16.4% in 18 months)
    Brisbane June 21 $678,236 (up 10% in 18 months)
    Melbourne June 21 $1,022,027 (up 9.3% in 18 months)

Clear winner with percentage and $ growth is Sydney but the 18 months growth rate is not as as crazy as some of the media want to make us believe. It's still good especially for Sydney and Melbourne which have higher bases

    Screen grabs.
    For Sydney.
    1.137 in Dec 2019. 1.410 June 2021.
    Difference 273k.
    273/1137 = 24%.
I think your maths is faulty, sorry to say. Screenshot_20210730-073329_Samsung Internet.jpg Screenshot_20210730-073443_Samsung Internet.jpg

I might as well ask, how did you get 23.5% for Sydney please?
