Best way to do this is to use the 'map' view instead of the list view - then just zoom in on the subject area. Obviously relies on manual checking, you can't set up email alerts unfortunately (makes it harder to buy the whole street!).

I search by street on rea but it's fussy about how you write it, if you don't write it the way it wants, it's spits the dummy

    For example type
    Goderich Street East Perth

if you try and put too much information it's not happy

That is the listing agents trying to place their advertisement where it should not be

Just 50k increments lol! Try 1mill - the next increment is 1.25mill.

I know the team here at Domain are working at bringing in functionality that is useful.

I personally use the following commands in Google when I have a really specific search (often the case when hunting for a news story)...

"MAIN SEARCH TERMS" AND "OTHER IMPORTANT SEARCH TERMS" -"search terms you don't want to see come up" site:domain.com.au

"sports bar" AND Sydney AND "Pittwater Road" -old -apartment site:domain.com.au

You can keep adding in -""s and additions until you get what you want.

Definitely. From a user point of view, I have been really interested to find out what makes REA tick and what does not. There are some things that may be blatantly obvious but some that take some clarification here and there. I hope I didn't cross any borders on this forum.

To be honest, I've seen that complain about inaccurately priced results date back a decade on the internet.

It is driving me crazy that realestate.com.au crashes if you zoom in a few times on map view in Internet Explorer. Back to Chrome for a while until some other bug presents there.

Checked out your HomeKoala site - interested to know how you're intending to make money with it? Advertising? Especially given you don't charge agents (if I'm getting the gist right).

Advertising in some form, eventually yes. The end goal is of course to offer value whilst charging for products at the same time.
